Grameen University invites applications for the position of Deputy Director / Director, Finance & Accounts to lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, internal controls, and financial governance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the University’s finance and accounts functions
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting
• Oversee treasury, cash flow, taxation, VAT, audit, and compliance
• Maintain effective financial systems, policies, and internal controls
• Oversee student fees, payments, receivables, payroll, and financial transactions
• Provide financial analysis and support sound financial governance

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline; CA, FCA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent will be highly preferred
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership/management role, preferably in higher education or a large organization

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, taxation, VAT, audit, compliance, internal controls, risk management, leadership, stakeholder management, financial systems, and MS Excel.
