Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Diploma Civil Engineer role located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Diploma Civil Engineer will assist in preparing and reviewing civil engineering drawings, layouts, and designs under the guidance of senior engineers. Daily responsibilities include supporting site supervision, monitoring construction work, checking levels and measurements, and ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors and site staff, preparing basic progress reports, and assisting with planning of materials, resources, and work schedules. The Diploma Civil Engineer will also help identify and resolve on-site technical issues and contribute to maintaining compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and understanding of core civil engineering principles.
• Ability to work with Civil Engineering Design tasks, including reading and interpreting drawings and structural details.
• Skills in Planning and basic project coordination, including scheduling and resource planning.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management or willingness to learn relevant drainage and site infrastructure concepts.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software and familiarity with MS Office tools.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, collaborate with diverse teams, and communicate clearly in Bangla and basic English.
