JOB OVERVIEW

Our client is a leading export apparel manufacturer specializing in Formal Wear and Woven Garments.They are seeking an experienced DGM – Merchandising to lead merchandising, buyer management, product development, and order execution, with a strong focus on business growth, customer relationships, and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Merchandising function and team.

• Manage relationships with international buyers, brands, and buying houses.

• Oversee product development, costing, negotiations, and order execution.

• Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Sourcing, and Commercial teams.

• Drive order growth, customer retention, and profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 12–15+ years of apparel merchandising experience.

• Strong experience in Formal Wear and Woven Garments.

• Proven experience with international buyers/brands.

• Strong knowledge of costing, product development, negotiations, and order management.

• Strong leadership, commercial, and communication skills.

• Bangladesh apparel industry experience is an advantage.

• Willingness to relocate to Bangladesh.
