Role Description The Design Specialist will work on-site in Dhaka, Bangladesh in a full-time capacity, supporting design and development initiatives across various apparel categories. This role involves creating and refining graphics and visual concepts for fashion products, preparing design layouts, and collaborating with product development and sourcing teams to ensure designs are production-ready. The Design Specialist will use computer-aided design (CAD) tools to translate creative ideas into detailed technical drawings and specifications aligned with manufacturing capabilities. Daily responsibilities include conducting design-related research on trends, materials, and construction methods, and working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain brand consistency and quality standards. The role also requires maintaining organized design documentation, participating in design reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement in design processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Graphic Design and Graphics skills, with experience creating visual concepts for apparel and fashion products.
• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and digital design files for manufacturing.
• Candidates should possess solid Research skills to analyze fashion trends, materials, construction techniques, and market requirements.
• Candidates should possess basic understanding of Architecture or structural design principles as they relate to product form, fit, and functionality.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or similar tools).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret technical specifications, and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
