To lead and manage large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, safety, cost efficiency, and compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion.
- Manage major infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, flyovers, metro/rail, and related civil works.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements, and contract requirements.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, resources, costs, productivity, and overall performance.
- Review and resolve technical, contractual, construction, and site-related issues.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams including Engineering, Construction, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, Commercial, and other functions.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Review work programs, progress reports, claims, variations, and project documentation.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular site inspections, coordination meetings, and progress reviews.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with all project stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit periodic progress reports and management updates.
- Support contractual and commercial activities, including claims, variations, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure smooth project handover, completion, and close-out.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Experience: 12 to 15 years
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
