- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and general ledger.
- Monitor accounts payable, do vendor balance reconciliation and filing and verifying fixed assets accounting.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Manage SAP FI/CO module activities and ensure accurate transaction posting.
- Generate reports from SAP and to provide to auditor / consultant / Govt authority time to time.
- To do the PR/SRN as and when required
- Overall knowledge of SAP for assisting all stakeholders
- Assist to prepare corporate income tax returns in compliance with Bangladesh Income Tax Act.
- Maintain tax records, statements, challans, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors.
- Support tax assessments, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure organizational compliance.
- Ensure compliance with VAT and Supplementary Duty Act and relevant regulations in factory.
- Review the VAT returns and VAT-related statements.
- Maintain VAT registers, purchase/sales books in software and documentation.
- Reconcile VAT records with financial accounts and ERP data.
- Support VAT audits and regulatory inspections.
- Experience: 7-10 years
- Education: master of business administration in accounting
- Skills: back office operations, proficiency in accounting software, knowledge of accounting software, accountants, basic accounting knowledge, accounting, audit preparation, sap hr, accounting software, financial accounting
