- Monitor and enforce quality standards across all stages of footwear production.
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, semi-finished, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and buyer standards.
- Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production, design, and development teams to proactively address quality concerns and enhance product performance.
- Prepare, maintain, and update quality reports, documentation, and compliance records for internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality regulations as per company policy and industry standards.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality Control team to build capability, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure raw materials meet quality specifications.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Implement product testing protocols, including durability, fit, comfort, and safety, for finished goods.
- Address customer complaints and feedback, coordinating corrective measures to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Develop and track quality KPIs and metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Standardize work instructions, inspection checklists, and production checkpoints to prevent recurring defects.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and advanced technologies in footwear manufacturing.
- Support internal and external quality audits, certifications, and compliance requirements.
- Experience: 7 years
