Role Description The Deputy General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Gazipur, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within designated units or departments. The role includes planning and monitoring production activities, ensuring quality standards, managing resources, and supporting adherence to compliance and safety requirements. The Deputy General Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams, resolve operational issues, and support implementation of strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This position also involves performance management, mentoring mid-level managers, preparing reports for senior leadership, and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including buyers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior operations or production management, preferably in the garments or textile sector.
• Strong leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and performance evaluation skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning, process optimization, and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of quality control, compliance, workplace safety, and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfort with data-driven decision making, including use of reports, KPIs, and operational metrics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in Gazipur or similar industrial zones, with familiarity in large-scale factory operations, is an advantage.
