Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role based in Comilla Adarsha Sadar Upazila. The Dental Assistant will support dentists during examinations and procedures, preparing treatment rooms, organizing instruments, and ensuring a clean and safe clinical environment. Daily responsibilities include assisting with chairside procedures, maintaining proper sterilization and infection control protocols, and preparing patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. The role also involves documenting treatments, updating patient records, managing basic administrative tasks such as scheduling and follow-up reminders, and coordinating with other team members to ensure smooth clinic operations. The Dental Assistant is expected to follow clinical guidelines, use equipment safely, and contribute to a positive, respectful experience for every patient.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Dental Assisting and Dentistry, including supporting chairside procedures and understanding common treatments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Dental Care and Oral Care, with a focus on patient comfort, preventive care, and clear communication about home care routines.
• Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization and infection control, including proper handling, cleaning, and preparation of instruments and treatment areas.
• Completion of a recognized Dental Assistant training program or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic dental terminology, materials, and equipment operation is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow clinical protocols, and maintain accurate records.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with an inclusive and respectful approach to patients and colleagues.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
