Deep Mind Labs Limited is looking for an experienced, hands-on Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise data platforms.

We are looking for someone who understands the complete data lifecycle — from source systems, data modeling and ETL/ELT to Data Warehouse/Lakehouse, analytics, Dataverse, Power Platform, and AI-ready data architecture.

This is not a documentation-only architecture role. The successful candidate should be comfortable designing the architecture and working hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise data architecture for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Design scalable Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Architect data integrations between SQL Server, Azure, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, Power Apps, APIs, and third-party enterprise applications.
• Design batch, scheduled, near-real-time, and real-time data integration patterns.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, views, and database structures.
• Improve SQL Server/Azure SQL performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design dimensional models including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Define data ingestion, transformation, storage, archival, and consumption strategies.
• Establish standards for data quality, governance, security, lineage, metadata, and master data management.
• Design data platforms that support BI, analytics, AI/ML, enterprise applications, and reporting.
• Create architecture diagrams, ERDs, data-flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with AI/ML, software engineering, BI, Power Platform, and business application teams.
• Review existing data platforms and recommend architectural and performance improvements.

Experience with the Microsoft business application data ecosystem is highly desirable:

• Power Apps data architecture
• Dynamics 365 data architecture
• Dataverse tables, relationships, security, and data modeling
• Dataverse integration with Azure and SQL
• Data migration to/from Dataverse
• Power Platform data integration
• Enterprise CRM/ERP data integration

Preferred Microsoft Data Certifications

Candidates with Microsoft data-focused certifications will receive preference, particularly:

1. Microsoft Certified: SQL AI Developer Associate
2. Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate – DP-700
3. Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate – DP-600
4. Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate – DP-203 (retired; valuable if already earned)

Relevant Microsoft Applied Skills credentials in SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Lakehouse, ETL/ELT, and Analytics are also highly valued.

Certifications are preferred, but strong hands-on enterprise implementation experience is more important.

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Database Engineering, BI, or Data Architecture.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies preferred.
• Proven experience designing and implementing production-grade enterprise data solutions.
• Experience handling complex integrations and large datasets.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, ERP/CRM, or other enterprise environments will be a strong advantage.
