Data Analyst / BI Developer – SQL, Python & Power BI

We are looking for a technically strong Data Analyst / BI Developer who can turn complex and sometimes ambiguous problems into clear, logical, and practical data solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys going beyond dashboards — someone who wants to understand the data, define the logic, perform the calculations, and help determine how a solution should actually be built.

What will you work with?

You should have hands-on experience with:

• SQL – complex queries, joins and data modelling
• Python – data cleaning, validation and scripting
• Power BI – building data models and interactive dashboards
• DAX – experience is a strong plus

What are we looking for?

Technical skills are important, but we're especially interested in your mathematical, analytical and algorithmic thinking. You should be comfortable taking a vague or open-ended problem and turning it into:

• Clear logic and calculations
• Defined data requirements
• A structured solution
• A practical technical approach
• A clear plan for implementation

You will also support our team in drafting technical plans of approach — helping define how a solution should be built based on the requirements and information available. This is not primarily a client-facing scoping role. We are looking for someone who can think deeply about the technical side of a problem and help the team translate requirements into workable solutions.

An ideal candidate:

An early-career professional with strong technical foundations. For candidates with limited professional experience, a relevant degree or academic background in areas such as:

• Data Science
• Computer Science
• Mathematics
• Statistics
• Business Analytics

is required.

More than years of experience, we're looking for someone who can think logically, solve problems independently and understand how data can be transformed into a reliable solution.

Key requirements:

Must have:

• Hands-on SQL experience
• Practical Python experience
• Strong Power BI experience
• Understanding of data modelling
• Strong analytical and mathematical thinking
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into concrete logic
• Ability to develop structured technical approaches

Nice to have:

• DAX experience
• Experience with data validation and quality processes
• Experience designing algorithms or complex calculations
• Experience creating technical solution plans
