Role Description This is a full-time Cyber Security Analyst role based in Dhaka with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The Cyber Security Analyst will monitor systems and networks for security incidents, analyze threats, and respond to vulnerabilities in real time. Daily tasks include conducting security assessments, reviewing logs, performing malware analysis, and implementing controls to protect applications and infrastructure. The role involves working closely with IT and development teams to strengthen security posture, support incident response activities, and contribute to security policies and documentation. The analyst will also stay current with emerging threats, tools, and best practices to continuously improve organizational defenses.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Cybersecurity and Analytical Skills to identify, assess, and prioritize security risks.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Network Security to secure network infrastructure, monitor traffic, and manage firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Candidates should possess Application Security skills to assess, test, and improve the security of software and web applications.
• Candidates should possess Malware Analysis skills to investigate suspicious files, understand attack methods, and support incident remediation.
• Relevant additional qualifications include familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), knowledge of SIEM tools, and experience with incident response processes.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams are essential.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred; industry certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are an advantage.
