About the Role

Crantech Ltd is hiring a full-time Video Editor (execution role) to produce high-quality video content (short-form) based on established client guidelines and reference materials. This is a hands-on post-production position: you will follow brand aesthetics, process raw footage, and deliver finalized videos formatted for specific platforms. This is not a creative director, scriptwriting, or overarching content strategy role. It’s for a reliable editor who can execute precisely, match required styles (from fast-paced talking heads to clean corporate), and consistently hit monthly output volumes across client projects.

What you'll actually do

• Edit raw footage into polished, platform-ready videos according to specific client briefs and brand guidelines.
• Format and optimize content for various publishing platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn).
• Add engaging elements such as captions, motion graphics, b-roll, transitions, and audio sweetening.
• Maintain a consistent monthly video output while strictly adhering to deadlines and volume expectations.
• Organize and manage project files, raw footage, and assets to ensure clean digital hygiene and smooth handoffs.
• Review reference videos and channel URLs to replicate the requested brand aesthetic and pacing perfectly.

What we're looking for

• Excellent English communication is a must.
• Real, hands-on experience editing short-form video content for brands, creators, or agencies.
• Work experience with international brands/clients
• Proficient with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
• Strong visual and auditory attention to detail—specifically with pacing, color correction, audio mixing, and caption accuracy.
• Self-directed and reliable: full-time availability, your own high-performance editing machine, and stable internet.
• Able to follow detailed templates and brand guidelines precisely and implement feedback quickly.

Not required (what this role does not include)

• High-level content strategy, channel growth management, or ideation.
• Filming, directing, or any on-set production (this is strictly a remote post-production role).
• Scriptwriting or conceptualizing videos entirely from scratch.

Nice to have

• Prior agency or multi-client video editing experience.
• Basic graphic design skills for creating YouTube thumbnails (Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Familiarity with AI tools for streamlining post-production workflows (e.g., auto-captioning, audio cleanup).
• Experience with cloud collaboration tools (Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox).
