Job Description
Role: Country Manager - Freight Forwarding
Location: Bangladesh
Experience: 10+ years in Business development and Sales Management
Industry: Logistics / Supply Chain / Transport / Freight Forwarding / Cargo / Shipping
Education: MBA (Mandatory)
We're looking for a senior logistics leader who has experience managing a country/business units sales, operations, customers, people and P&L, with a strong focus on business growth and profitability
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development and sales growth across the country.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Take ownership of the country's P&L and financial performance.
- Lead and oversee sales, operations and other regional functions.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
- Drive revenue growth, market share and profitability.
- Manage and develop senior teams and build a strong performance culture.
- Monitor costs, productivity and operational efficiency.
- Develop business plans and strategic initiatives for the country.
- Manage key customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Requirements:
- MBA / Masters in Business Administration. (Mandatory)
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Management and Business Development.
- Strong experience within Logistics / Freight Forwarding / Supply Chain / Transportation.
- Proven experience managing P&L / business operations.
- Strong leadership and people-management experience.
- Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial, analytical and business-development capabilities.
- Experience managing a country, business unit or large regional operation will be highly relevant.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A senior logistics professional who has already managed a business unit/country operation, with responsibility for sales, operations, customers, people and P&L, rather than someone with only functional sales or operations experience.
Requirements
- MBA / Masters in Business Administration. (Mandatory)
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Management and Business Development.
- Strong experience within Logistics / Freight Forwarding / Supply Chain / Transportation.
