Counselor

USAC (UK Study Application Centre) is an international education consultancy specializing in student admissions and study opportunities across the UK, Europe and Malaysia.

We are seeking a motivated and confident Student Counselor to join our team in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. This role involves advising prospective students, supporting university applications, maintaining regular follow-ups and helping students make informed decisions about their international education plans.

• Counsel prospective students regarding study opportunities in the UK, Europe and Malaysia.
• Assess students’ academic backgrounds, study interests and career goals to recommend suitable universities and courses.
• Make approximately 25–40 lead calls per day and maintain regular follow-up.
• Follow up with prospective and existing students regarding their applications.
• Provide timely updates on application progress and admission decisions.
• Work toward monthly application and performance targets.
• Communicate with students through phone, WhatsApp, email and social media.
• Provide accurate information about admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships and application procedures.
• Coordinate with university and partner representatives regarding student applications and admissions.
• Maintain accurate student records and regularly update the CRM.
• Follow up on pending documents, offers, deposits and other application requirements.
• Support students throughout the admission process.
• Prepare professional emails and application-related communications.
• Maintain effective professional relationships with students and university partners.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• 6 months–2 years of relevant experience in education consultancy, student counseling, international student recruitment, immigration consultancy or a related field is preferred.
• Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
• Strong communication, counseling and interpersonal skills.
• Good sales, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Knowledge or experience related to IELTS will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated and target-oriented.
• Able to communicate professionally with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable working with daily calling and follow-up targets.
