Role Description The Counsellor for Europe will provide one-to-one and group counselling to students interested in studying at European universities, guiding them through course selection, institution choice, and application requirements. This full-time, on-site role in Dhaka involves conducting consultations, explaining admission criteria and visa processes, and helping students prepare necessary documentation. The Counsellor will maintain up-to-date knowledge of European higher education systems, scholarships, and entry requirements, and will communicate regularly with partner institutions. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate student records, following up with prospective students, collaborating with colleagues on outreach activities, and participating in seminars, events, and information sessions to promote study opportunities in Europe.

Qualifications

- Solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases, meet deadlines, and maintain detailed documentation.
- Knowledge of European higher education systems, admission processes, and scholarship opportunities; prior experience in education consultancy is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in English; ability to communicate effectively in local languages in Dhaka is an advantage.
- Comfort with common office software and online communication tools; ability to learn new platforms used for student management and applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Business, Social Sciences, or Humanities; higher qualifications are an asset.
- Demonstrated integrity, commitment to non-discriminatory practices, and a genuine interest in supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
