Job Purpose

Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure accurate and timely VAT, TDS, and income tax compliance in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The position is responsible for preparing VAT returns, managing tax deductions and deposits, maintaining proper tax records, and supporting corporate tax reporting to ensure full statutory compliance and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT Returns (Form 9.1) accurately and within deadlines
- Reconcile input VAT and output VAT
- Manage VAT payments, adjustments, and refunds
- Calculate and apply correct TDS rates on vendor and service payments
- Prepare and submit salary tax computations and deductions
- Ensure timely deposit of TDS and other withholding taxes
- Prepare quarterly tax returns and related statements
- Support annual corporate tax return preparation
- Experience: 3-5 years
- Education: bachelor of business administration in accounting
- Skills: tax preparation, tax compliance, tax accounting, vat/gst, company secretarial work, use tax, vat regulations, tax software
