Job Description
- Brainstorm, develop, and pitch creative content ideas for 10 Minute School’s digital platforms.– Stay updated with internet culture, social media trends, formats, and audience behaviour to identify new content opportunities.– Plan, coordinate, and execute shoots for Reels, Shorts, TikToks, and other short-form content.– Handle quick-turnaround content production from ideation to execution.– Coordinate with presenters, creators, instructors, editors, designers, and other team members to ensure smooth production.– Handle smaller productions independently and assist in larger-scale productions when required.– Understand basic framing, lighting, composition, and audio to ensure good-quality footage.– Identify everyday moments, topics, and trends that can be turned into engaging content.– Experiment with new formats, storytelling styles, and creative approaches.– Maintain organized production workflows, schedules, and communication with relevant teams.– Ensure assigned content deliverables are completed within deadlines.– Has a strong understanding of social media content, internet trends, and short-form content formats.– Has a creative mindset and the ability to generate and communicate new ideas.– Can independently take an idea from concept to execution.– Comfortable shooting videos using an iPhone or camera.– Has a basic understanding of framing, lighting, composition, and audio.– Has good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.– Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.– Willing to take ownership and work independently without step-by-step instructions.– Willing to handle both creative and operational aspects of content production. Bonus points if the candidate – Previous experience creating social media content.– Basic photography or videography experience.– Basic editing knowledge in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.– Understanding of Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and short-form storytelling.– Experience working with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.– Experience with events, clubs, media teams, or independent productions.
