Hiring for a Reputed Hospital
We're looking for an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Pathologist to provide accurate diagnostic pathology services, interpret pathological findings, and support clinicians in patient diagnosis and management.
π Location: Shyamoli, Dhaka | π Full-time
π° Salary: BDT 250,000/month
π Education: MBBS + Postgraduate qualification in Pathology (MD/MS Pathology or equivalent)
πΌ Experience: Minimum 8 years
ππ²π π₯π²ππ½πΌπ»ππΆπ―πΆπΉπΆππΆπ²π
β Perform and interpret histopathology, cytopathology, hematology, and clinical pathology investigations
β Examine and evaluate tissue, blood, fluid, and other clinical specimens using appropriate diagnostic techniques
β Review, interpret, and validate laboratory and pathology test results
β Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and timely pathology reports
β Provide expert consultation to physicians and clinical teams on pathology findings
β Communicate critical findings promptly to concerned clinicians
β Ensure diagnostic accuracy, patient safety, and laboratory quality standards
β Supervise and guide pathology lab staff and junior medical professionals
β Ensure proper handling, processing, storage, and documentation of clinical specimens
β Participate in QA/QC, clinical audits, and continuous improvement programs
β Stay updated with current developments and best practices in pathology
β Work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

β MBBS from a recognized medical institution
β Postgraduate qualification in Pathology (MD/MS or equivalent)
β Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Pathology
β Valid BMDC registration
β Strong expertise in Histopathology, Cytopathology, Hematology, and Clinical Pathology
β Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic ability, and attention to detail
β Strong commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics
β Ability to work effectively with consultants, physicians, and healthcare teams
