Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Masuda Group is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps / SRE) to design, automate, and scale our multi-cloud infrastructure and edge network across our enterprise platforms and data systems.

In this role, you will lead the provisioning of resilient cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, and Cloudflare, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes container orchestration, CI/CD automation, and enterprise observability.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure, highly available multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform.
• Manage and scale production Kubernetes clusters (EKS and GKE), optimizing workload autoscaling and ingress routing.
• Configure and optimize Cloudflare edge services including CDN caching rules, Workers, WAF security, and DNS routing.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for zero-downtime application deployments.
• Implement comprehensive telemetry, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Establish Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, SLOs, automated backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Enforce secret management with HashiCorp Vault, least-privilege IAM roles, and compliance security controls.
• Monitor resource utilization, analyze performance metrics, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure costs.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and GCP core services (compute, networking, storage, IAM).
• Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong expertise with Docker containerization and production Kubernetes cluster management.
• Practical experience managing Cloudflare services (DNS, CDN, WAF, Edge Workers).
• Proven track record building automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of Linux networking, DNS, load balancing, and security hardening.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for infrastructure automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or CKA).
• Experience implementing service meshes (Istio or Envoy) in high-traffic Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with multi-region failover strategies and disaster recovery automation.
