Role Description The Cloud Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The individual in this role will manage and maintain cloud environments, including provisioning resources, monitoring performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability of services. Daily responsibilities include performing system administration tasks, managing infrastructure components, implementing backup and recovery procedures, and supporting incident resolution through thorough troubleshooting. The Cloud Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to improve cloud architecture, enforce network security controls, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement efforts. The role also involves supporting migrations, applying patches and updates, and adhering to organizational standards and compliance requirements.
Qualifications

• Strong Cloud Administration skills, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing cloud resources.
• Experience in System Administration and Infrastructure management for enterprise IT environments.
• Proficient Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve cloud, system, and application issues.
• Knowledge of Network Security principles, tools, and best practices for securing cloud and on-premises systems.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for deployment and configuration tasks.
• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are an advantage.
