Role Description The Civil Engineering Professional will work full time on-site in Dhaka, supporting the planning, design, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs and drawings, performing site inspections, and coordinating with project managers, contractors, and consultants. The role involves monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and assisting in cost estimates and technical documentation. The Civil Engineering Professional will also contribute to water resource management activities where applicable, resolve technical issues during construction, and provide clear communication to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, including structural, infrastructure, and site development concepts.
• Experience with Project Management in construction or infrastructure projects, including scheduling, coordination, and documentation.
• Knowledge of Water Resource Management, such as drainage design, stormwater systems, or related hydrological considerations.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, structural analysis tools) and MS Office.
• Understanding of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable in Bangladesh.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing project priorities.
• Professional engineering certifications or membership in engineering bodies are an advantage.
