## Site Engineer – Civil

### Job Summary

We are looking for a **Site Engineer – Civil** to supervise and coordinate construction activities at project sites. The successful candidate will ensure that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

### Educational Qualification

* **Diploma in Civil Engineering** from a recognized institution.

### Required Skills & Competencies

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering drawings.
* Ability to read, interpret, and execute work based on **engineering drawings, BOQ, and specifications**.
* Good communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Basic computer knowledge, including **MS Office**; knowledge of **AutoCAD** is preferred.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
* Good understanding of construction quality standards and site safety procedures.

### Additional Requirements

* Willingness to work at project sites.
* Practical knowledge of construction site operations.
* Experience in **residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects** will be an advantage.
* Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.

### Key Responsibilities

* Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
* Ensure all construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project requirements.
* Monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction activities.
* Conduct regular site inspections and identify quality or technical issues.
* Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.
* Manage site manpower and ensure proper utilization of labor and resources.
* Monitor project progress and prepare **daily and weekly progress reports**.
* Assist in project planning, scheduling, execution, and resource management.
* Ensure compliance with **Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)** requirements.
* Maintain proper site documentation, including reports, checklists, measurements, and records.
* Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues promptly.
* Coordinate with the Project Manager/Senior Engineer regarding site progress and requirements.
* Ensure timely completion of assigned construction activities.
* Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management or superior authority.
