Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, responsible for driving the overall technology vision and execution for Real Estate BD. The CTO will oversee software and product development teams, ensure scalable and secure platform architecture, and align IT strategy with business goals across the real estate marketplace, CRM systems, and professional networking tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical roadmap planning, managing project delivery timelines, reviewing system performance, and fostering collaboration between engineering, product, and business stakeholders. The CTO will establish best practices for code quality, infrastructure management, and data security, while mentoring technology staff and building a high-performing, inclusive engineering culture. The role also involves evaluating emerging technologies, optimizing platform reliability, and supporting innovation to enhance user experience and growth.
Qualifications

• Strong background in Software Development, with hands-on experience in modern web technologies, cloud platforms, and scalable system design.
• Proficiency in Project Management, including leading cross-functional teams, managing complex technical initiatives, and delivering products on time and within scope.
• Demonstrated expertise in IT Strategy, with the ability to align technology decisions with business objectives, growth plans, and operational efficiency.
• Experience in Technology Architecture, including designing secure, modular, and high-availability systems for high-traffic digital platforms.
• Proven track record in Product Development, collaborating with product and business teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and ship user-centric solutions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience leading technology functions in startups, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms; exposure to real estate or fintech domains is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and mentor diverse technical teams.
