Company Introduction

Job Description

  • Define and execute the Bank’s end-to-end technology strategy aligned with business and digital banking objectives.
  • Lead architecture design for core banking, digital channels, APIs, cloud platforms, and fintech integrations.
  • Ensure scalability, high availability, resilience, and future-readiness of all technology platforms.
  • Balance innovation spend with operational stability and regulatory needs.
  • Oversee development and management of mobile banking, internet banking, agent banking, merchant platforms, and open banking APIs.
  • Ensure seamless customer experience, performance optimization, and rapid product launch capability.
  • Collaborate with business teams on new digital products, propositions, and innovation initiatives.
  • Own the Bank’s enterprise data strategy, including data governance, quality, privacy, and usage.
  • Lead Business Intelligence (BI) and advanced analytics to support: Customer insights & segmentation, Revenue optimization & cross-sell, Fraud detection & risk analytics, Performance dashboards for management & Board, Enable real-time and self-service analytics for business teams.
  • Technology Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Establish robust IT governance, security controls, and compliance frameworks aligned with Bangladesh Bank ICT guidelines, digital banking regulations, and data localization requirements.
  • Ensure enterprise-wide cybersecurity, data protection, incident response, disaster recovery (DR), business continuity (BCP), and cyber-resilience testing to protect critical financial infrastructure.
  • Act as a strategic partner to business, product, risk, and operations teams, translating business needs into scalable, secure, and future-ready technology solutions.
  • Drive automation, straight-through processing (STP), and adoption of emerging technologies (AI, ML, RPA, cloud, blockchain) to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
  • Lead strategic partnerships with core banking platforms, fintechs, cloud providers, and system integrators; manage contracts, SLAs, costs, and alignment with Banglalink Tech, JazzCash, and core platforms.
  • Build and lead high-performing engineering, data, BI, and security teams while driving agile, DevOps, product-centric delivery, and leadership succession planning.

Academic Qualification

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Job Experience Required

  • 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with significant experience in digital banking, fintech, or data-driven organizations.
  • Strong exposure to core banking systems, digital platforms, data analytics, and regulatory environments.
  • Certifications in Cloud, Security, Data, or Enterprise Architecture preferred.
