Chief Financial Officer

Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the overall Finance & Accounts function and develop the company's financial strategy.
• Advise the Managing Director and management on financial performance, investment and business decisions.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Monitor profitability, costs and financial performance across different business units.
• Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.

Cash Flow, Treasury & Working Capital

• Manage daily cash flow, fund allocation and working capital.
• Maintain effective control over company cash, bank accounts and financial resources.
• Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.
• Establish effective credit and collection procedures.
• Monitor client credit limits, aging and recovery.
• Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, guarantees and other financial arrangements.
• Manage foreign currency transactions and remittances where applicable.

Travel & Aviation Finance

• Oversee airline, supplier and client settlements and reconciliations.
• Manage IATA/BSP-related financial processes, airline deposits, credit exposure and settlements.
• Monitor ticketing revenue, supplier liabilities and client balances.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of airline, GDS, supplier and customer accounts.
• Identify and minimize financial leakage, billing discrepancies and unrecovered balances.

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare management reports, MIS, cash-flow reports and financial dashboards.
• Provide management with clear analysis of revenue, gross margin, expenses, receivables and profitability.
• Ensure reporting complies with applicable IAS, IFRS and Bangladesh accounting requirements.

Audit, Tax & Compliance

• Lead internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, VAT and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, legal advisors and statutory/regulatory authorities.
• Maintain proper documentation and financial records.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Establish and strengthen financial policies, procedures and approval systems.
• Ensure proper segregation of duties and financial controls.
• Monitor financial and operational risks.
• Strengthen controls over cash, credit sales, client balances, expenses and procurement.
• Identify potential fraud, leakage or financial irregularities and take appropriate action.

ERP, Systems & Process Improvement

• Oversee the company's accounting/ERP systems and financial MIS.
• Improve integration between Sales, Ticketing, Operations and Accounts.
• Automate financial reporting and reconciliation wherever possible.
• Develop systems that provide management with accurate and timely financial information.

Team Leadership

• Lead, develop and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
• Establish clear KPIs and responsibilities for the finance department.
• Build a professional, accountable and performance-driven finance function.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Ticketing, HR and senior management.
