C&H Power Management Company Limited is a professional Operation & Maintenance (O&M) service company responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 2 × 660 MW Coal-Fired Supercritical Thermal Power Plant located at Banskhali, Chattogram, Bangladesh, owned by SS Power I Limited. The company is committed to ensuring safe, reliable, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations in compliance with international standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the Operation & Maintenance functions of the power plant.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance, availability, and operational excellence.
Plant Operations Management
- Ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation of the 2 × 660 MW Supercritical Coal-Fired Power Plant.
- Monitor plant generation performance, efficiency, heat rate, and operating parameters.
- Oversee implementation of operational procedures, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead emergency response and crisis management activities when required.
Maintenance Management
- Ensure effective planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Optimize maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and plant availability.
- Monitor major overhauls, shutdowns, and maintenance projects.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Establish and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimize operational risks and maintain world-class HSE performance standards.
Financial & Resource Management
- Manage operational and maintenance budgets effectively.
- Control operational costs while maintaining high plant performance and reliability.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering and operational teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Support succession planning and workforce development initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain effective communication with the plant owner, regulatory authorities, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present operational reports to management and stakeholders.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and extensive relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 14–15 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of coal-based thermal power plants.
- Hands-on experience in the operation of 660 MW Supercritical Thermal Power Plant Units is mandatory.
- Proven leadership experience in large-scale power generation facilities.
- Strong understanding of thermal power plant systems, performance optimization, maintenance planning, and safety management.

Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary Package
- Basic Salary: BDT 5,10,000/-
- Other Allowances: BDT 90,000/-
- Total Monthly Gross Salary: BDT 6,00,000/-
