Role Description The Chief Adviser is a senior, full-time leadership role responsible for providing strategic guidance across company operations and projects. This on-site position, based in Bangladesh, involves advising executive leadership on business direction, risk management, and organizational development. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project proposals, evaluating technical and financial feasibility, and recommending improvements to processes, policies, and resource allocation. The Chief Adviser collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors senior managers, and supports decision-making on key initiatives, partnerships, and investments. The role also includes representing the organization in high-level meetings, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, and promoting best practices in governance and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in advisory or executive leadership roles, preferably within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or related industries.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a track record of guiding complex organizational or project-level initiatives.
• Proven skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, and high-level communication, including the ability to present recommendations to boards and senior leadership.
• Background in project governance, risk management, and performance evaluation, with familiarity in regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to Bangladesh.
• Advanced degree in engineering, architecture, business administration, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop senior professionals and foster collaborative, inclusive work environments.
• Comfort working on-site in Bangladesh and engaging with local partners, authorities, and communities.
• Experience with sustainable development, innovation in building technologies, or urban development is an advantage.
