- Position Purpose
This position requires a hands-on laboratory professional with practical experience in the skin care, cosmetics, toiletries, personal care, or related FMCG manufacturing industry, with strong knowledge of chemical analysis, formulation-related testing, laboratory procedures, and quality standards.
- Key Responsibilities
- Raw Material Testing
- Perform physical, chemical, and analytical testing of incoming raw materials according to approved specifications and test methods.
- Test ingredients such as oils, emollients, surfactants, emulsifiers, preservatives, fragrances, active ingredients, thickeners, colors, and other cosmetic raw materials.
- Verify raw material specifications, Certificate of Analysis (COA), and test results before release.
- Identify and report non-conforming raw materials to the concerned department.
- Maintain accurate records of all raw material testing and release activities.
- In-Process & Finished Product Testing
- Conduct laboratory testing of skincare and personal-care products during production and after completion.
- Experience: 3 years
- Education: bachelor of science in chemistry
