Role Description The Chef/Cook at Grey Studio is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka. This role involves planning and preparing menu items, cooking a variety of dishes, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation. The Chef/Cook will oversee food preparation, manage kitchen cleanliness, monitor ingredient quality, and support inventory control. Responsibilities also include following food safety and hygiene standards, coordinating with team members during service, and contributing ideas for menu development and seasonal specials.
Qualifications

• Proven experience as a chef, cook, or in a similar kitchen role, preferably in a café, studio, or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of basic and advanced cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to manage time effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple orders while maintaining quality.
• Skill in food presentation, portion control, and attention to detail in taste and plating.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
