Campus Ambassador

Company Description Jaatra is a Dhaka-focused mobility technology platform designed to make public transport easier to understand and use. It brings routes, stops, fares, and journey options into one simple experience, so people can plan trips across bus, metro, rail, and walking with greater clarity and confidence. The platform aims to make everyday movement around Dhaka smarter, more accessible, and less confusing for all commuters. Jaatra is built for the city, shaped by real commuter needs, and continuously refined through community feedback to keep improving local travel experiences.

Role Description The Campus Ambassador role at Jaatra is an on-site position based in Dhaka. Campus Ambassadors will represent Jaatra within their educational institutions by promoting the platform, organizing small awareness activities, and sharing information about new features and updates. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with peers, collecting feedback on public transport experiences, supporting user onboarding, and sharing insights with the Jaatra team. Ambassadors will also help create local partnerships on campus, participate in marketing or research initiatives, and act as a key link between students and the Jaatra community.

Qualifications

• Interest in urban mobility, public transport, or technology platforms, and enthusiasm for improving everyday commuting in Dhaka.
• Organizational and basic event coordination skills to manage small on-campus activities, info sessions, or outreach campaigns.
• Comfort with using mobile apps and digital tools, and ability to explain app features clearly to new users.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently while meeting agreed goals and timelines.
• Currently enrolled in a college or university in Dhaka; prior experience in student clubs, volunteering, or campus leadership is a plus.
