Cameraman

We are looking for a skilled and creative Cameraman to join our digital news platform. The selected candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage for news reports, interviews, live coverage, social media content, and digital programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage for news reports, interviews, events, and digital programs.
• Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and other production equipment.
• Cover breaking news and outdoor assignments as required.
• Set up camera, lighting, and basic audio equipment for shoots.
• Coordinate with reporters, presenters, producers, and video editors.
• Ensure proper framing, composition, exposure, focus, and camera movement.
• Maintain and properly handle camera and production equipment.
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines and changing newsroom requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background in Film, Media, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of professional experience as a Cameraman/Videographer, preferably in a news or digital media organization.
• Strong knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and basic audio equipment.
• Good understanding of framing, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Experience covering news, interviews, outdoor events, and live assignments will be an advantage.
• Cameramen with drone operating skills and experience will be given preference.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for news assignments when required.
• A strong portfolio/showreel will be preferred.
