Role Description The Calibration Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This position is responsible for performing calibration and testing of instruments, sensors, and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical specifications and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include developing and executing test procedures, analyzing measurement data, documenting calibration results, and maintaining calibration records and certificates. The role involves collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to support powertrain and related systems, troubleshoot equipment issues, and recommend improvements to testing and calibration processes. The Calibration Engineer also assists in maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in quality and reliability.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Calibration and Testing, including familiarity with relevant tools, instruments, and procedures.
• Candidates should possess knowledge in Powertrain systems and their performance parameters in industrial or automotive contexts.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, including circuits, sensors, and control systems.
• Candidates should possess core competencies in Mechanical Engineering, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and machine components.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards, and prepare clear technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
• Experience with industry-standard calibration and testing equipment and software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and safety practices in laboratory or industrial settings is beneficial.
