Role Description The CAD Master & Sample Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka. This position is responsible for managing CAD patterns, digital files, and sample development workflows to support timely and accurate garment production. Day-to-day tasks include creating, updating, and grading patterns using CAD systems, coordinating sample requests with merchandising and production teams, and ensuring that samples meet fit, measurement, and quality standards. The role involves tracking sample status, organizing approvals from buyers and internal stakeholders, and maintaining detailed documentation of styles, size sets, and technical specifications. The CAD Master & Sample Manager will work closely with factories and internal departments to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize pattern efficiency, and support continuous improvement in the sampling process.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in garment CAD systems (e.g., Lectra, Gerber, or similar) and digital pattern management.
• Proven experience in sample room coordination, fit approvals, and managing size sets for woven and knit garments.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and technical specifications, including measurements and grading.
• Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with merchandising, production, QA, and factory teams.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word, email) for reporting and documentation.
• Relevant experience in apparel manufacturing or sourcing, preferably in a similar CAD or sample management role.
• Diploma or degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
