We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Engineer to identify new business opportunities and support business growth in the construction and infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in Civil Engineering along with experience in client relationship management, tendering, project coordination, or business development.
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a reputed university.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, project coordination, tendering, or business development.
- Experience requirements may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct regular client and project site visits to identify potential business opportunities.
- Search for relevant tenders, project opportunities, and upcoming construction projects.
- Support tender preparation, proposal development, and bidding activities.
- Coordinate with technical, commercial, and project teams to prepare quotations and proposals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Prepare business development reports, client updates, and project opportunity summaries.
- Maintain a database of prospective clients, projects, tenders, and business leads.
- Use AI and digital tools for market research, documentation, reporting, and business development activities.
- Follow up with clients and stakeholders to convert leads into business opportunities.
- Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets.
