Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Branch Manager at Mutual Trust Bank PLC. The Branch Manager will oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and risk management standards. Responsibilities include leading and coaching branch staff, setting performance targets, and fostering a culture of ethical conduct and customer service excellence. The role involves managing deposit and loan portfolios, monitoring key financial indicators, and driving business growth through relationship management, local market outreach, and cross-selling of banking products. The Branch Manager will also handle complex customer issues, coordinate with head office and other units, prepare operational and performance reports, and support digital and remote banking initiatives to improve service quality and efficiency.

• Candidates should possess people leadership and team management skills, including staff supervision, performance coaching, conflict resolution, and the ability to build an inclusive, high-performing work environment.
• Candidates should possess customer relationship and service skills, including client onboarding, issue resolution, communication, and a focus on long-term relationship building.
• Candidates should possess business development and financial analysis skills, including portfolio management, credit understanding, target setting, and interpretation of branch performance metrics.
• Candidates should possess digital literacy and remote management skills, including proficiency with core banking systems, collaboration tools, and support for digital and remote banking services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or professional banking certification is an advantage.
• Proven experience in banking, with prior responsibility for branch operations or a similar leadership role, ideally within a commercial or retail banking environment.
• Strong ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to make data-informed decisions in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
