Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Ishwardi Upazila. The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves working with accounting software to update ledgers, generate reports, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant financial policies. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with finance and operations teams to provide timely, reliable financial data that supports decision-making.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Bookkeeping and Journal Entries (Accounting) to maintain accurate and complete financial records.
• Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements to support reporting and compliance requirements.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with Accounting Software to manage ledgers, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance to understand cash flow, budgeting, and basic financial analysis.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work on-site in Ishwardi Upazila, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage deadlines.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or food industry finance is an advantage.
