Bodyguard / Security And Protocol Officer

Role Description This full-time, on-site Bodyguard / Security and Protocol Officer role is based in Dhaka. The role involves providing personal protection to designated individuals, maintaining situational awareness, and identifying potential security threats in real time. Responsibilities include monitoring access to secure areas, escorting clients during travel and public appearances, and coordinating with internal teams and local authorities when needed. The officer will follow established security protocols, conduct regular risk assessments, and prepare brief reports on incidents or observations. The position also requires supporting protocol-related activities, such as managing secure arrivals and departures, ensuring adherence to organizational standards, and maintaining a discreet, professional presence at all times.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in personal security, close protection, or law enforcement, with the ability to assess risks and respond calmly under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including access control, perimeter security, and emergency response practices.
• Excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and situational awareness in crowded or high-profile environments.
• Good physical fitness, stamina, and the ability to stand or move for extended periods; training in self-defense or tactical operations is an advantage.
• Clear, professional communication skills in spoken and written form; ability to give and receive instructions quickly and accurately.
• High level of discretion, integrity, and respect for confidentiality when dealing with clients and sensitive information.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on client schedules and operational needs.
• Relevant certifications in security, protection services, or emergency medical response are preferred.
• Familiarity with the local environment in Dhaka, including traffic, routes, and key facilities, is beneficial.
