Procurement Responsibilities
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Process purchase orders and track procurement activities.
- Monitor price trends, market conditions, and supplier performance.
- Ensure procurement activities align with the project budget and timelines.
- Coordinate with the site and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Maintain proper records of stock levels and reordering schedules.
Billing & Payment Processing:
- Prepare and review invoices for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Verify and reconcile purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices.
- Process and track payments, ensuring timely settlements.
- Address billing discrepancies and resolve disputes with vendors and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to procurement and billing.
- Prepare reports on expenditures, outstanding payments, and cost analysis.
- Experience: 2 years
- Education: association of chartered certified accountants (acca )
- Skills: procurement processes, procurement, project purchasing, procurement software, purchasing processes, third party vendor management, purchase management, supplier management
