Role Description The Barista is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other café beverages, as well as light food items. Day-to-day tasks include operating coffee equipment, following recipes, handling food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation and seating area. The Barista will greet customers, take orders, process payments, and provide friendly, efficient customer service. The role also involves restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards. Collaboration with team members and supporting overall store operations are key parts of this position.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage courteously with guests and work well within a team.
• Candidates should possess Barista skills, including basic knowledge of coffee preparation and operation of espresso machines and related equipment.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication abilities to take orders accurately, explain menu items, and coordinate with colleagues.
• Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills and an understanding of basic hygiene and safety practices.
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle fast-paced environments, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic numeracy for handling cash, POS systems, and inventory counts.
