Role Description The Bank Manager role at Pubali Bank PLC in Sylhet is a full-time, on-site position responsible for leading branch operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The Bank Manager oversees daily banking activities, including deposit and loan services, cash operations, and regulatory compliance. This role manages branch staff, sets performance targets, and provides coaching to maintain productivity and service standards. The Bank Manager develops and maintains business relationships with individual and corporate clients, identifies opportunities for new accounts and products, and supports local marketing and outreach initiatives. The role also involves monitoring financial performance, preparing reports, managing risk, and ensuring alignment with the bank’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications

• Strong Business Relationship Management skills to build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and institutional clients.
• Solid knowledge of Finance and Financial Services, including retail and corporate banking products, credit, deposits, and risk management.
• Proven Customer Service capabilities, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and ensure a positive client experience.
• Demonstrated Team Management experience, including supervising staff, setting goals, and providing feedback and coaching.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in branch operations or banking management, preferably in a commercial bank setting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to accuracy and compliance.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Familiarity with banking regulations, internal controls, and risk management practices.
• Proficiency in basic office software and core banking systems; ability to learn new tools quickly.
