Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and help build a real-time, event-driven platform that discovers, records, transcribes, and publishes earnings call webcasts for public companies. This platform processes hundreds of events daily using AI pipelines, browser automation, GPU-accelerated transcription, and full-text search, and we need someone who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges at scale.
Requirements
What You’ll Do :
• Build event-driven data pipelines for real-time financial news
• Develop scalable backend services & APIs
• Integrate cloud infrastructure for compute, storage, messaging, CDN
• Design data models for document databases & search engines
• Implement AI/LLM integrations for classification, extraction, and conversational features
• Build browser automation for live webcast recording
• Maintain audio processing & transcription pipelines
• Collaborate with frontend & infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability across the platform
Required Skills :
• Strong Python (production-level)
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Experience designing & building scalable APIs
• Git & collaborative workflows

• Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure; serverless; messaging queues

• AI & Modern Dev: LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini), prompt engineering
• DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, automated deployments
