We're hiring: Automation & Workflow Specialist (Make.com)

We are looking for someone to build and replicate automation workflows across a growing client base.

This is a hands-on role. Most of your week will be spent inside Make.com scenarios and complex spreadsheets, working out why something behaved in an unexpected way and fixing it properly. If you enjoy tracing a single record through five steps to find exactly where it broke, you will like this job.

What you will be doing

• Replicating existing automation workflows for new clients using established templates and structures
• Testing and quality checking automations before and as they go live
• Catching issues early and flagging them clearly
• Working closely with our senior automation lead, who provides direction and reviews all new builds

What we need from you

• Hands-on experience with Make.com: building, troubleshooting and maintaining multi-step scenarios. You should be comfortable with routers, iterators and aggregators, filters and error handling

• Confidence working with JSON and mapping data between systems, including nested structures and arrays. If you have used the HTTP module to call an API that has no ready-made connector, say so

• Advanced Excel. This one is non-negotiable. Complex spreadsheets, structured data and formula-driven outputs are part of the daily work

• Regex. You will use it constantly for text parsing inside scenarios

• SQL. Enough to query a table, filter and join, and confirm that a workflow produced the rows it was supposed to produce

• Airtable. Bases, linked records, views and filtering. Several of our client workflows run on it

• The discipline to follow a record through a chain of transformations and work out exactly where the value changed. Most of the debugging here is logical rather than technical

• Real problem solving ability. This matters to us more than anything else on the list. The work is full of edge cases and unexpected inputs, and we need someone who investigates before concluding

• Clear written and spoken English, since you will be working with a remote team

Nice to have

• Basic JavaScript, for Google Apps Script or small serverless functions
• Experience with cloud storage platforms such as Box, Google Drive or SharePoint
• Google Sheets alongside Excel

Tools you will work with

Make.com, Excel and Google Sheets day to day. Alongside that: [your ticketing tool], [your documentation tool] and [your credential manager]. We keep our client builds templated and documented, so you will not be inventing a new approach for every account.
