Associate Product Manager

Summary:

tapmad is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the tapmad Product team and support the delivery of features across our sports-first OTT streaming platform. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their product career who wants to learn end-to-end product management under senior leadership from writing requirements and coordinating with engineering and QA, to tracking releases and analyzing how features perform after launch. You will work closely with the Product, Engineering & Business teams to translate roadmap priorities into clear, actionable specifications, and to keep day-to-day execution moving across engineering, design, QA, and partner teams.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements & specs: Assist in writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirement documents (PRDs) under the guidance of senior PMs.
• Sprint & delivery support: Coordinate with engineering, QA, and design teams to track sprint progress, groom the backlog, and help remove day-to-day blockers.
• Quality & release readiness: Support test planning and UAT, log and triage bugs, and help ensure releases meet the expected quality bar before launch.
• Data & insights: Pull and analyze basic product and usage data (engagement, funnels, feature adoption) to support decision-making and post-launch reviews.
• Cross-functional coordination: Act as a day-to-day point of contact between Product and other teams (Engineering, Design, QA, Marketing, Operations) on assigned initiatives.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of features, decisions, and known issues; keep trackers and roadmap tools current.
• User & market research: Support competitor analysis, user feedback reviews, and app store/customer support insights to surface improvement opportunities.
• Stakeholder updates: Prepare clear status updates and demo materials for internal reviews and stakeholder meetings.
• Continuous improvement: Proactively flag risks, gaps, or inefficiencies in current workflows and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Atleast 3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project management or a related role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear requirements and summarize technical topics for non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile ways of working (sprints, backlogs, standups).
• Comfortable working with data - spreadsheets, dashboards, or basic analytics tools - to support decisions.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple small workstreams at once.
• A genuine interest in streaming, sports, or consumer digital products is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma or similar tools.
