The Trainee / Assistant Software Engineer is an early-career professional who supports the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of MISL’s enterprise software solutions. This role focuses on assisting clients in implementing and using MISL’s flagship systems efficiently while ensuring quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Working under moderate supervision, the individual will engage in client communication, software testing, issue resolution, and implementation activities that contribute to successful software rollouts and client success.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Provide professional and timely responses to client queries, technical issues, and new requirements.
§ Participate in software implementation projects, including installation, configuration, and user training.
§ Conduct system testing, verification, and validation prior to delivery or deployment.
§ Accurately document client feedback, configurations, and system changes, ensuring traceability and communication with development teams.
§ Collaborate with development, QA, and project teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues.
§ Engage in requirement analysis sessions with clients to understand business needs and translate them into actionable tasks.
§ Support deployment and post-implementation activities, including monitoring, issue tracking, and system optimization.
§ Maintain up-to-date documentation, FAQs, and implementation notes.
§ Participate in team learning initiatives and continuous improvement programs to enhance domain and technical expertise.

Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server
Scripting / Programming: Java, C++, Python (basic)
Tools & Frameworks: SQL/PLSQL, RESTful APIs, GitLab/GIT, Postman, Web Services
Cloud & DevOps Exposure (Good-to-Have): Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
Professional & Technical Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
