Role Description The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gazipur. This position supports the Quality Assurance Manager in monitoring production quality, implementing quality control procedures, and ensuring that all garments meet buyer specifications and company standards. Daily tasks include supervising inline and final inspections, reviewing sample approvals, maintaining quality documentation, and coordinating with production, merchandising, and technical teams to resolve quality issues. The role also involves training and guiding QA and QC staff, following up on corrective and preventive actions, and supporting compliance with relevant industry and buyer requirements. The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager is expected to provide regular reports, contribute to process improvements, and help maintain a culture of quality throughout the factory.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, outerwear construction, and quality inspection methods.
• Experience with inline and final inspection, sample evaluation, and handling buyer quality requirements.
• Ability to analyze defects, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Proficiency in maintaining quality records, reports, and standard operating procedures.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for working with production, merchandising, and technical teams.
• Capability to train, supervise, and motivate QA/QC staff to follow quality standards and procedures.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under pressure to meet delivery timelines.
• Relevant experience in apparel or outerwear manufacturing; prior experience in a QA supervisory or assistant managerial role is preferred.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
• Familiarity with compliance practices, health and safety standards, and buyer audit requirements is beneficial.
