- Oversee and manage the overall production operations of a large-scale knit garments manufacturing factory.
- Plan, organize, and execute production activities to ensure timely shipment according to customer requirements and production plans.
- Manage and monitor all stages of garment production and provide necessary technical guidance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Plan, coordinate, organize, and control the overall production process from input to finished garments.
- Develop and implement effective production plans in line with order requirements, capacity, production targets, and shipment schedules.
- Monitor production progress and take timely corrective actions to achieve daily, monthly, and shipment targets.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement effective production planning, monitoring, analysis, and management systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize production losses.
- Review and monitor factory layout plans to ensure efficient workflow, optimum capacity utilization, and maximum production output.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs while maintaining required quality standards and delivery performance.
- Monitor production efficiency, productivity, downtime, wastage, rejection, and rework, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Quality, IE, Maintenance, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Plan production and shipment schedules in coordination with Merchandising and Marketing teams based on order priorities and delivery requirements.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among different production departments to minimize bottlenecks and production delays.
- Allocate duties and responsibilities to subordinate managers, executives, and supervisors according to operational requirements.
- Supervise the performance of subordinates and ensure that assigned responsibilities are completed effectively and within the required timeline.
- Maintain close coordination with respective departments to resolve operational issues and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Provide regular production performance updates to senior management, including achievement, capacity utilization, productivity, quality, and shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, quality standards, safety procedures, and applicable production guidelines.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement, and operational excellence.
