Job Responsibilities
- Review scratch sheets and prepare files accordingly.
- Follow up on sample booking authorization and maintain relevant files.
- Prepare samples and ensure timely submission to buyers.
- Assist with bulk booking and prepare daily reports and authorization.
- Handle accessories booking and work orders.
- Check the in-house status of accessories and maintain records in SAP software.
- Prepare and submit lab dips for buyer approval.
- Obtain required approvals from buyers within the scheduled timeline.
- Follow up on printing and embroidery activities.
- Assist with consumption and costing.
- Apply for required testing through BV, ITS, and TUV and coordinate submissions.
- Regularly follow up on production status and prepare reports.
- Prepare packing lists, SLI, invoices, and other necessary documents.
- Provide overall assistance to senior merchandisers.
- Communicate and coordinate with buyers and suppliers.
- Attend quotation meetings at buying houses on time.
- Visit buying houses when required, especially in emergency situations.
- Prepare gate passes for samples, embroidery, printing, and other related activities.
- Maintain booking sheets and records in SOP software.
- Perform any other assignments as required by the Section/Department Head.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years
- Education: BSc in Textile Engineering
- Skills: Garments Merchandising, Sample Development & Follow-up, Sample Booking
