Server & System Administration
- Manage Windows Server (2012–2022) or latest and Linux environments
- Handle installation, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Ensure system availability, security, and upgrades.
- Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, and hybrid identity
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Control user access, policies, and security compliance
- Manage VMware / Hyper-V environments and VMs
- Support Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure and hybrid setup
- Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery readiness
- Implement endpoint tools (Intune/SCCM or similar)
- Manage device deployment, patching, and policy enforcement
- Automate tasks using PowerShell/Bash
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing, switching, VPN
- Use monitoring tools (PRTG/Zabbix/Nagios) for performance and alerting
- Manage ticketing systems (OSTicket/ServiceDesk/Jira etc.)
- Ensure SLA, incident, problem, and change management
- Improve service delivery and reporting
- Implement security controls (Firewall, VPN, MFA, DLP, Endpoint Security)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and audits
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies
- Use AI tools for monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting
- Automate repetitive tasks using AI-assisted workflows
- Explore AIOps solutions to improve efficiency and incident response
- Lead and manage IT support team
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and best practices
- Experience: 4-7 years
- Education: computer science and engineering
- Skills: it operations, it support, computer network operations, system administration, knowledge of data center operations, it infrastructure management, systems administration, technical team management
