Assistant Manager/Associate Manager (SO/EO), Transformation, Credit Small Business

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights through analytics, statistical modeling, data visualization and business intelligence. The position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions, build predictive models, automate the reporting, and deliver impactful visualizations that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Functional Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end statistical, predictive, and machine learning models to support business decision-making and performance improvement.
• Monitor and maintain model and dashboard performance, conduct validation and quality checks, and ensure accuracy and consistency of analytical outputs.
• Design and develop end-to-end interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, R Shiny, Streamlit or similar platforms.
• Design and maintain structured data repositories, analytical datasets, data marts and databases to support reporting and advanced analytics.
• Establish standardized data definitions, data dictionary, reporting logic, calculation methodologies and dashboard structures to ensure consistency across business reports.
• Prepare presentations and communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging developments in data science, AI, machine learning, business intelligence, database technologies and data visualization.

Education & Experience

• 4 years of Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in any subject from any reputed university is required, with preference in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Visualization, Business Intelligence or a related field.
• Experience in developing analytical models, dashboards, automated reports, data pipelines and end-to-end data-driven business solutions.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning and automation.
• Proficiency in SQL, with practical knowledge of database management, data structures, data repositories, Data warehouse, data marts, data integration and data quality management.
• Hands-on expertise in Power BI, R Shiny, Streamlit or similar data visualization and BI platforms.
• Good understanding of end-to-end predictive modeling projects, machine learning, exploratory data analysis and model evaluation.
• Experience in developing automated ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines will be an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple analytical projects and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla & English

• Proven ability to be proactive and work independently or part of a team
